“Großdeutschland Sanitäts Kompanie 2 / DRK” (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz)
			The Großdeutschland Medical Unit was part of the élite Wehrmacht combat unit which saw action during World War II. Our re-enactment unit portrays the day to day activities of a Großdeutschland Medical Unit both behind the lines and also in a field role. Our display reflects the equipment and uniforms of the era. Our members are made up of doctors, medics and nurses, who on many occasions also treated allied soldiers and civilians alike. The ranks within our unit also reflect the medical qualifications gained by our unit members. It is our intention to show members of the public the history and everyday life of German combat medical personnel in WW2.
