Who we are:

We are an Auckland based group of individuals with an interest in military re-enacting of the World War II period, namely the 2nd Rangers Battalion

What we do:

Public displays/battles - At a given venue for example the Motat Military Open Day, the club will combine with other re-enacting groups to display camp and equipment scenarios amd stage scripted battles. Using blank ammunition and on occasions pyrotechnics, tactics and outcome are decided before hand for crowd pleasing entertainment.

Tactical battles - For members only, these battles are fought in full combat uniform using blank ammo and are held on private land away from contact with the public. Opposing sides are given a battle scenario with objectives to achieve using appropriate battle tactics.

Training days - Run by the more experienced members of the unit, training is given on a range of topics: Care and maintenance of weaponry and gear, field maneuvers, vehicle training, uniform standards, drill etc
